We wanted to go in another direction with our family photos, less posing and more real, and so booked a few families to help us with some styled family photo sessions to help build up our portfolio.
My husband and I were blessed to meet Jaimi and Sandra this year, who own a beautiful farm and homestead out at Saprae Creek estates Animal Wise Acres, where they raise a variety of animals and they have really made it such a welcoming and pleasant place to bring the kids for a visit. When I approached them to see whether they’d allow me to use their space for the styled session I had planned with one of my favourite families, Nikki and Pascal and their boys, they happily obliged and we spent the evening together playing and exploring their beautiful property.
