Had so much fun, I love every time any of my kids get behind the camera for me! She even got messy, something she absolutely hates to do. Such a great day!
For this yearâs annual Coven session with our Brand Ambassadors, we gathered for a witches tea party outside of Fort McMurray on a foggy autumn afternoon. During the enchanting event, attendees were treated to a bewitching array of herbal teas and hors dâoeuvres. Our Brand Ambassadors, adorned in elegant black attire and pointed hats, embraced the magical ambiance as they engaged in discussions about upcoming promotional campaigns, Halloween and the Christmas holidays to come. As the day shrouded in clouds turned into an evening plunged in darkness, it was clear that this gathering had ignited a powerful sense of unity among our ambassadors, strengthening our brandâs connection to the mystical world they embody.
We wanted to do something fun and different, and were toying with the idea of fairies, but the more I looked at them the more I found myself leaning towards ones with mushroom elements, so instead I decided to host a âMushroom Fae Gatheringâ with our Brand Ambassadors.
Each of us chose a real life mushroom to model our hats off of, and made our own hats.

This was SO much fun! We headed off to our favourite creek and spent an absolutely beautiful summerâs day laughing, splashing and playing. I love shoots like these, group sessions where each girl is celebrated as the incredible individual they are â and the handmade element of these shoots made them even better!
Can not wait for all the events we have planned already for 2024!
Raya was one of our 2023 Brand Reps so received 3 full sessions for 2023, and I am finally sitting down to blog the last of them! I loved every one of our sessions together, she is as kind as she is beautiful, and as creative as she is talented! It was truly a joy getting to know her through the year. This family portrait session she planned, though, is one of my all time favourite shoots. I love the candidness of it, we just let them play and jump rope, ride trikes and horses, snuggle up on horses and on one another. It was absolutely the most beautiful fall day, the wind picked up just at the end of our session as we wrapped up. We could not have asked for a more perfect evening in the autumn sunshine, and watching her love up on her beautiful family, and them loving up on her, was the icing on the cake.
Mamas, take the time to spin your kids around and have them tackle you in a dogpile like this while you still can. As a mama of 4, who will be 10 through 25 this year, I promise you these moments fleet by quickly. Take the time to soak it up, and make every memory matter.
